Tying Shoes By Dylan Grodner

This was a very fun project to make because I felt that I was almost like a cameraman that you would see filming a real movie. I always see cutting on action in movies and think that the transitions are pretty cool. I really like how the angle of the video might be at one point and then move to another angle in literally one second. I felt like I was doing this here, so I really enjoyed making this film. My most successful part of the process was finding different angles to film, that way the audience would get different perspectives of the film. The part of the project that was least successful and that I can improve upon are the transitions. I want my transitions in the future to be very clear and not just from one video to another. During this project, I learned how to cut on action. I learned the different angles and aspects of the video that you want to try and film when using cutting on action. All in all I really enjoyed making this film and thought that cutting on action is a great use of capturing the moment and building up the excitement, and would be something I would want to do in my future films.

These are some examples of cutting in action.
