In this film, it reminded me of something we did last year, just with a lot more knowledge of how to film it. I remember the film I made last year for this type of project was of two people talking about the NBA Finals. It is crazy to see how much I have learned in this past year and what I am now able to do. We also challenged ourselves to add him some types of shots that we haven't used before, such as the dolly shot. In my opinion, the use of the dolly was the most successful shot. It came out really clear and was overall a really good shot. I also think changing the color was successful too because it created some suspense to the scene.
The first picture here is a POV type shot, which I think works really well. I really do feel as if you are the person watching from the bushes. The second shot is a timelaps with a color change. We used this to create some supsense to the scene. Lastly, we chose a dolly shot for one of our opening scenes. This also came out really good and is something I will definitely use in the future.
Overall, I am very happy with how this film came out and am excited to see what new things to add to my films this year. Last year, many of my films were the same basic ones, but this year I want to challenge myself to try something new in each and everyone of my films. I think I accomplished that in this film, which I am very happy about.
