Fishing With Eduardo!

When I was first thinking about what to have this film about, I wanted it to be something different, creative, and fun as it was the last film of the year. I watched a bunch of different internet videos as examples. I was debating if I should make a blog about my daily life or some sort of podcast. I was thinking about making a basketball film, but I have already done that multiple times. I was also thinking about doing a basketball podcast, which would have been a lot of fun but I thought to myself, "what is one thing I haven't made a video on all year?". I thought about making a video on teaching how to fish as it is a  recently new hobby I have shown interest in. Lately, I have been fishing with my neighbor every weekend. At first, I thought that I should be teaching fishing, but then I thought about my neighbor, Eduardo, an expert at fishing. When he was going through the steps, I was even learning new things, so this was a really good thing that he was able to help out.

Over the course of the year, I am very happy with how my videos have turned out and how I have learned as a student in this class. It is really interesting to see some of the developments of my films over the course of the year. I remember that at the beginning of the year I was in New York, taking pictures of things around my house. I then put those pictures into a film. I remember that the first film I made when I got to Florida was a video of my brother tying his shoes. Lastly, I finished off with a video of my neighbor fishing and catching a shoe at the end. The shoe part was actually somewhat a dedication to my grandpa, who never catches anything but shoes.

Overall, this year has been really fun and exciting in this class. Every single film we make, I try to set a goal for myself to be different and always continue to try new things, which is what I think I have accomplished.
